The GiftWorks Consultant Advisory Group is comprised of industry experts who have demonstrated specific skills and insights that help our team understand our customers and their needs.
Kathy Alme- Alme Consulting
St. Paul, MN - Kathy has over 23 years of experience in nonprofit administration, development and IT Support and truly understands the needs of nonprofits. Kathy has assisted many (24 and counting!) agencies implement GiftWorks including importing their existing data into GiftWorks and providing training on its most effective use. She can provide as little or as much assistance as you need and can do so via email and phone if needed.
She enjoys helping nonprofits utilize technology in ways that improve their client services and help them communicate more efficiently and effectively with clients, donors, funders and other stakeholders. She earned a Mini MBA in Nonprofit Management from the University of St. Thomas and participates in several networks of nonprofit fundraising and IT support professionals.
Froswa' Booker-Drew- Soulstice Consultancy
Grand Prairie, TX - Froswå Booker-Drew is the owner of Soulstice Consultancy, providing capacity building services to nonprofit and faith-based organizations in the areas of strategic planning, program and resource development, as well as board governance. Froswa is a board member of the Texas Association of Nonprofit Organizations and serves as a grant reviewer for a number of federal agencies and foundations.
Vicki Dull- Quicksilver Business Solutions
Wilmington, NC - Vicki is the Owner and CEO of Simple Software Solutions, specializing in software, merchant services, payroll and procedural solutions for non-profit organizations.
Her expertise and certification as an Intuit Solution Provider supporting Quickbooks Accounting and Retail Software along with her certification in GiftWorks, allows her to solve the unique challenges of non-profit organizations. Vicki is able to address their needs from a business owner, volunteer and now executive director's perspective as she also spends part of her time serving The Jo Ann Carter Harrelson Center, a center for non-profit organizations serving the health and human needs of her community. Benga H. Harrison- The Development Group
Birmingham, AL - Benga works as a consultant with The Development Group, an organization that helps nonprofits with capital campaigns, fundraising development, development audits, strategic planning and overall organizational stability. She is a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, cum laude, in 2000. With an interest in women's political leadership, Benga was honored to be invited to the first conference on "Why Women Matter" organized by The White House Project in Washington, DC in March 2003.
Wendy Nipper Homeyer- Homeyer Strategy
Columbia, SC - Wendy, founder of Homeyer Strategy Group, LLC, offers years of strategic planning and communications experience for nonprofit organizations. As the former Special Assistant to the Deputy Assistant to President George W. Bush, Wendy assisted in the development and implementation of the Administration's communications strategy to promote and communicate American policies around the world. She specializes in comprehensive strategic advice for business-to-business, business-to-consumer and government-to-citizen environments.
Susan Lucas- Third Sector Consulting
Sydney, NSW, Australia - Susan owns Third Sector Consulting in Sydney, Australia. With experience in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors, she takes special interest in database management, process improvement, fundraising, financial analysis and reporting. Her aim is to provide organizations with capacity building tools and training to enable more informed decision-making.
R. Scott Lyons- Living Legacies
Fredericksburg, VA - Scott has more than 25 years' experience in nonprofit administration, including fundraising, project management and public relations. Before establishing Living Legacies, he oversaw the development and implementation of a national initiative to build sustainable major giving programs at 111 PBS stations. With an extensive background in advancement and resource development for higher education, Scott founded Living Legacies to help nonprofit organizations increase their knowledge, maximize their efficiency and work together in finding solutions to cultural and societal needs.
Linda Lysakowski, ACFRE- Capital Venture
Las Vegas, NV
Reading, PA - Linda is one of fewer than one hundred professionals worldwide to hold the Advanced Certified Fund Raising Executive designation. In her sixteen years as a philanthropic consultant, she has managed capital campaigns and helped dozens of nonprofit organizations achieve their development goals. She has also trained more than 15,000 professionals in Mexico, Canada, Egypt and most of the fifty United States in all aspects of development. Linda is a graduate of AFP's Faculty Training Academy and served on the board of the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy. She is a prolific writer and is currently working on another book.

Concord, NH - Fran and her organization, HJ Marshall Associates, provide development and accounting services to enable nonprofits to focus their financial and human resources on meeting their mission. Her specialties are planning and implementing development strategies and related database systems.
Bonnie Massa- Massa & Company, Inc.
Chicago, IL - Bonnie is a marketing information architect who focuses on customer data to solve business problems. On the nonprofit side, she is the founder of an active performing arts company in Tennessee; her business clients include Ronald McDonald House Charities, Budget Rent A Car, Midas International and Johnson Wax. She is a volunteer Account Director with Chicago's Taproot Foundation.
Cheryl Middaugh- do good Consulting
Urbana, IL - Cheryl is an organizational development specialist with do good Consulting. With wide professional experience in all aspects of fundraising, including startup nonprofits, her specialties are developing messaging for fundraising and analyzing previous fundraising approaches to identify constituent-responsive strategies.
John Oppenheim- Dig-in Technology
- In addition to owning Dig-in Technology, John is an affiliate consultant with the Long Beach Nonprofit Partnership, with more than 40 years of experience in application software. Having served on Boards of Directors for nonprofits, he understands the special needs and structures of these organizations. John has also taught Marketing and Technology at the University level and created his own Accounting and Quickbooks course for adult education. It is this combination that helps John solve complex business issues and technological challenges.
Carol Pence- Pence Consulting
Marquette, MI - Carole, President of Pence Consulting, considers herself a Philanthropic Specialist - she trains nonprofit staff in the practical aspects of campaigns, writing case statements and board development. She serves on the faculty of the Fund Raising School at the Center on Philanthropy of Indiana University.
Ruthellen S. Rubin, CFRE- Ruthellen Rubin & Associates
Yardley, PA - Ruthellen works with development professionals and boards to create individualized fundraising programs that are affordable and sustainable. She also facilitates customized workshops and retreats for organizations and boards, and is a frequent workshop facilitator for The Support Center for Nonprofit Management in New York City. She is a faculty member at New York University's Heyman Center of Philanthropy and Fundraising, where she teaches graduate courses in fundraising.
Marc S. Saffren, CFRE- M3 Development
Manorville, NY - Marc is the Managing Director of m3 Development, an organization offering tailored fundraising and philanthropy solutions that combine innovation with sound fundamentals. He is currently involved in projects to raise over $20,000,000 in philanthropic funds and to facilitate private foundation support to charities on Long Island and beyond. He has been an Adjunct Professor at Hofstra University in the Non Profit Management Program and he lectures at Columbia University.
Karen Schaller- Fundraising Database Consultant
Exeter, ME - With nearly a decade of experience helping nonprofits utilize fundraising software, Karen works with organizations to learn their database needs and evaluate their current software use. She helps them handle new information, merge and update old sources, and most importantly, make data accessible, analyzable and profitable. As a service to nonprofits in the community, Karen presents workshops with the Maine Association of Nonprofits.
Joel Schuman- Joel Schuman Consulting
Saugerties, NY - After working for a software company in the mid '70s, Joel spent 25 years consulting on administrative systems for large universities, then he moved to designing and building software. In 2002, Joel began to help land conservancies with fundraising. It was then that he found GiftWorks and began to do GiftWorks installations. Today Joel is a strong advocate for GiftWorks as well as the "go to guy" for a number of land conservancies.
Laurie Seaborn-Kronyak- Summit Software
Fresno, CA - Laurie started her business in 1992 by offering basic computer training. Her business grew to include office automation projects and custom software solutions. In 1998, Laurie Seaborn Consulting became Summit Software, a software design company which focuses on building industry-specific software applications. Laurie's faith is a major part of her business and she makes it a priority to use her talents to serve her community, including nonprofit organizations. Laurie feels her accomplishments can be attributed to the quality of her work, her upstanding reputation and her ability to build strong relationships with clients.
Gary "Duke" Speer- Coretech
Park City, UT - Duke has experience serving a wide range of industries and nonprofits. With a strong first-hand understanding of the challenges involved in motivating and supporting boards to meet their fundraising objectives, Duke works to deliver strategic use of technology to create an "intimate relationship" with a nonprofit's donors and stakeholders.
